Decadent Vapours for the second time will sponsors the 2012 CBC Peter Cole, botmaster of Brother Jerome, through his company Decadent Vapours, has agreed to sponsor the 2012 CBC. They will be awarding $1750 to the winning bots along with award medals to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Also a medal will be awarded to the "Best New Bot". Also a medal will be awarded to the "Best New Bot". 3/4/11 10 Question Scoring The top 9 highest scores will decide which 9 bots move on to the finals. The 10th bot will be selected by the judges. No specific criteria will be given for this decision. It will be a subjective decision. It maybe a bot who has performed well in past contest and simply had a bad day on the 10 question scoring. It maybe a bot who just missed the cutoff on the 10 question scoring. The judges reserve the right to select additional bots they view as worthy to make the finals as long as the number doesn't burden the judging process. 2/26/11 Preliminary Round and Finals The contest will consist of the preliminary round and the finals. The preliminary round will decide which 10 bots move on to the finals.
